As many of you are aware The Stevensville Playhouse is being sued by Phil Henderson, owner of the Stevensville Hardware store, regarding a curvature in our south wall.
Yes, the wall in question has a bow at the top that to our knowledge has been there for at least 15 years and has likely been in that state since it was first built in the 1930's. We have seen no evidence that the wall has changed or moved over the years. We have every reason to believe that our building is a safe place to create and enjoy theater, and should we find any evidence to the contrary, it is our commitment to the community that we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our volunteers and patrons.
We are disappointed with Mr. Henderson's lawsuit and public announcements, and we are hoping for this matter to be settled soon.
The Stevensville Playhouse will be postponing the production of "The Drunkard of Old Town Stevi". We hope to produce this show next summer 2015. Watch for Auditions next year in April or early May. Thanks!
Our regular season show prices are:
Adults $10 with advance purchase or $15 at the door.
