Open Auditions for Mary Poppins

Open Casting call for the first musical of of our 2015/16 season will take place on August 17th and August 19th starting at 7:pm

Casting calls for 28 featured characters. LOTS of singing and dancing!  All roles are open for audition. All auditioners should be prepared to sing a broadway style musical piece and dancers are needed.  No appointments are necessary. Additional audition times may be arranged if needed. 2015 - 2016 Season

The Stevensville Playhouse is proud to present our 2015-2016 season.

Starting our season with the well-loved Nanny “Mary Poppins” directed by Clay Freeman, Auditions are on Aug 17 and 19 with the show running Oct 2 – 18.  But, keep your imagination alive as we experience the fantastical world of “The Neverending Story” directed by Susan McCauley.  Auditions Oct 12 and 14, running Dec.  4 -13.  We will start the New Year with a stroll down memory lane as Scott Kirby, accomplished musician and artist brings “Main Street Souvenirs “to our stage Jan. 16 only!   Next, Working is a musical about, by and for anyone who has ever punched a clock, a cow or a supervisor.  It's a musical celebration by ordinary people that leaves you with a feeling of contentment about your walk of life and all those around you. “Working” directed by Gretchen Spiess.  Auditions Jan 11 and 13. running March 4 – 20.    Prepare yourself for a million laughs as we welcome Oscar Maze and Jim McCauley in their first directing experience with Jim Sperinck’s farcical adaptation of “Treasure Island”.  Auditions March 28 and 30 Running May13 -22. 

Season ticket holders can see all 5 of these great shows for only $55 adult and $45 children under 12 years of age.

Fund Raising Event at Bitterroot Brewery


Come enjoy Good Company, Great Beer, and live Bluegrass music!

The Bitterroot Brewing Company in Hamilton is hosting a family friendly, fund raising event for the Stevensville Playhouse on Sunday, June 7th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.   The Bitterroot String Band  and The Loose String Band will both be performing during this time, so come out and tap along. Take home some home-baked goods, and participate in a raffle for a quarter of beef at $5.00 a ticket.  Come out and have a great time while showing your support for our own local Community Theater!
